Ingredients
-
1 cup Gourmet Cashews

3½ cups cold water, for blending
How to Make Homemade Cashew Milk
1. Soak the Cashews
- Place the cashews in a bowl and add enough water to cover them by approximately 1 inch.
- Leave to soak for 6 hours or overnight. This helps soften the cashews for easier blending.
2. Drain and Rinse
- Drain the soaked cashews and rinse them thoroughly with fresh water.
3. Blend Until Smooth
- Transfer the soaked cashews to a blender and add 3½ cups of cold water.
- Blend until the mixture is completely smooth.
4. Strain the Milk
Pour the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean container to remove any remaining coarse particles.
5. Bottle and Refrigerate
- Transfer the cashew milk into a clean, airtight bottle or container.
- Refrigerate promptly and use within 3–4 days, provided it has been handled and stored safely.
Shake well before serving, as natural separation may occur.
